Mrs. Champion
Hello and thank you for visiting the ACMS Visual Art Website! My passion is teaching students to create and appreciate art.  I teach 6, 7th, and 8th grade art and each class meets for nine weeks.  In addition to making art, I also help students learn about specific cultures art such as Chinese (ceramics), Latin America (Diego Rivera Muralist), Ancient Egyptian Art, Ancient Greek Art, Classical Roman Art, Medieval Art, and art of Early America.  I help students work daily towards learning targets and each nine weeks we plan on having a showcase night where artwork is on exhibition!  Also in my class, students reflect on their own art and critique artwork of others as well!  I also have earned National Board Certification in Art Education for Adolescence through Young Adulthood and I am eager to work with all students! Please contact me at for questions.
