Anderson County Schools

Message from the Superintendent

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Anderson County Schools!  The mission and vision of Anderson County teachers and administrators is to ensure all students are safe, prepared for a competitive future and act as responsible citizens.  Our number one priority is providing a safe learning environment where students are engaged and achieving at high levels.  The Anderson County School Board, Anderson County staff and I work together to provide a high quality education for all students to ensure they are college and/or career ready.  We accept responsibility for preparing each and every student to be successful.  We are committed to providing a high quality education and meeting the individual needs of students.  In order to do this, we know that we must provide quality instruction, engage and challenge students, and use data to drive our instruction and decision-making.

We strive to provide a variety of extracurricular opportunities for our students in the areas of athletics, technology, arts and academics.  Through these various programs, students are able to be competitive and enjoy being part of a team - both of which are skills that will lead them to a successful future in any job field.  We celebrate our students and their accomplishments at our monthly board meetings by recognizing them for their performance and achievements.

As Superintendent, my goal is to ensure that our district vision and mission is implemented and that we remain a district of excellence, working for our students and the future of Anderson County.  We look forward to working with you to provide a positive educational experience.
