Weekly Info. for November 18, 2022
INTERESTED GSP JUNIORS:
If you are planning to apply, here are a few reminders and answers to some frequently asked questions:
  • DUE DATE: Your printed application is due to me in my office before 3:30pm on Tuesday, November 22nd. This includes ALL portions of your application. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be accepted.
  • TEACHER REC: Your teachers will most likely send their recommendation forms directly to me. You do not need to worry about having that in hand when you turn your application in to me. You should have already asked a teacher to complete this though, so if you haven't, you're running behind. I will be glad to let you know when you turn your application in to me if I have received a teacher rec. form for you.
  • COMMUNITY REC: You WILL need to have your completed Community Recommendation form with you as part of your complete application.
  • SIGNATURE SHEET: EVERYTHING should be typed and printed. However, you will print the student/parent signature form off and then you and your parents will sign it by hand, not digitally.
  • ESSAY: Please make sure you follow all of GSP's guidelines for how they want this typed. Also, it's a great idea to finish it very soon and have a trusted teacher read over it to find any errors/suggestions on improvement.
  • TEST SCORES: Many of you have yet to receive your October ACT or PSAT test scores. THIS IS FINE!!!! As long as I can verify on my end that you took one of these tests by October, I will obtain the score reports when we receive them and put them with your application.
Please let me know if you have any questions that I have not answered! I am glad to answer anything you may be wondering. Just email me and let me know!
Thank you all so much and I can't wait to read your applications!!!
