In-Person Instruction Resuming 1/19

Reminder: Anderson County Schools will begin offering in-person instruction along with our virtual and hybrid models on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The plan will remain the same as before Thanksgiving Break with the following additions to be in compliance with the updated “Healthy at School” guidelines:

  • Face Shields are not approved face coverings to replace a mask unless fulfilling IEP requirements or a medical waiver is in place.

  • No Classroom Mask Breaks allowed - All Staff and Students must wear a mask at all times while in the presence of other Staff/Students within a building unless actively eating or drinking.

  • School is NOT in session Monday, 1/18/21, in observance of Martin Luther King Day

Now, more than ever, reporting is key to helping our schools remain open to in-person instruction. Please stay in close communication with school administrators concerning student quarantines and/or positive cases. Thank you for helping us to implement mask wearing, social distancing and hand washing.

Please understand that many factors could require us to change plans at a moment's notice, we will notify parents and students of any adjustments or changes to our plans as they arise.
