Anderson County Schools

Welcome to the Anderson County High Technology Department. Throughout the school year students may participate in the following classes

  • Computer Literacy
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance
  • Introduction to Networking
  • Security Fundamentals
  • Engineering 1
  • Aerospace Engineering

The main pathway that I offer is Network Security. Students who complete this pathway will earn the Google Computer Support Specialist certificate. This is a professionally and academically recognized certificate that will enable the student to go directly into the workforce, or possibly begin college with advanced credits depending on the institution, and how many credits are offered for this certificate. Currently in our area, U of L and BCTC offer credits for this certificate. Please contact me if you would like more information.
